1. Eligibility

1.1 This competition is open only to South African citizens or permanent residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

1.2 Employees, agents, or contractors of the competition organisers, as well as their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

2. Competition Period

2.1 The competition opens on 10 January 2025 and closes on 10 February 2025 at 23:59 (South African Standard Time).

2.2 Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.​

3. How to Enter

3.1 To enter the competition, participants must:

• Follow us on Instagram: @holidaydealsa

• Optional: Tag 3 friends in a comment on one of our competition-related posts on Instagram, Facebook, X or TikTok.

3.2 Each valid entry will count as one entry into the competition. Participants may enter multiple times by tagging different friends or sharing the post on different platforms.

3.3 Incomplete or incorrect entries will be disqualified.

4. Prize:

4.1 The winner will receive a 1-night stay at our beachfront unit in Amanzimtoti (the "Prize").

4.2 The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.

4.3 The Prize includes accommodation only. No meals, transport, or flights are included.

4.4 The winner must accept the unit's Terms and Conditions, which include, but are not limited to, a no pets and no smoking policy within the unit.

4.5 The Prize must be redeemed within 2 months of the winner being announced, subject to availability.

5. Winner Selection and Announcement

5.1 The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries on or before 15 February 2025.

5.2 The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used for entry. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new winner may be selected.

5.3 The winner’s name will also be announced on our social media platforms.

6. General Terms

6.1 By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, and accept the decision of the organiser as final.

6.2 The competition organisers reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition, including these Terms and Conditions, at any time without prior notice.

6.3 The winner agrees to allow the organiser to use their name and pictures/videos for promotional purposes without further compensation.

6.4 The organiser is not responsible for any issues arising from the winner's ability to redeem the Prize.

6.5 The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, Facebook, X or TikTok.

7. Limitations of Liability

7.1 The competition organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment arising from the Prize, or any delay in receiving the Prize, or for any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

7.2 The competition organisers do not accept responsibility for entries not received for any reason, including technical issues or internet connectivity problems.

​8. Privacy

8.1 By entering the competition, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purpose of administering the competition and awarding the Prize.

8.2 Personal information will not be shared with any third parties without the participant’s consent, except as necessary to fulfill the Prize.

9. Refundable Breakage Deposit

9.1 A refundable breakage deposit of R800 will be charged and refunded once it has been established that there are no damages to the place.
