The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total capacity of the piece. When handling the hot utensil, be extra careful, use hand protection and keep out of the reach of children. Before first use, wash with a soft sponge, mild soap or liquid detergent. After drying, grease the inner area with oil or fat and bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180ºC for one or two minutes. Let cool and wash again. Your Starflon utensil is ready to use with or without fat, never at temperatures above 260ºC. To stir food, use only silicone, nylon or wooden utensils. This product does not require maintenance, only cleaning. Cleaning: Avoid immersion of hot utensil in cold water. Never use abrasive products for washing. If you let food burn, moisten the area and set aside until you can remove any stuck-on residue with a sponge and soap.
